Test laboratory, inspection body, strength test, service life calculation
The accredited test laboratory of Siempelkamp Pruef- und
Gutachter-Gesellschaft mbH (SPG) has had an accreditation in compliance with
the European standard DIN EN 45001 since 1992 and in compliance with the
international standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 since 2005. In the accreditation
certificate with the DAR registration DAP-PL-2361.00, the test laboratory is
attested to have the competence to carry out tests in the fields of
- manual non-destructive tests (visual check, ultrasonic testing, radiography,
magnetic crack detection, penetration testing)
- mechanic-technologic and metallographic testing
- strength tests of components
- strain measurement using strain gauges
- residual stress measurement on metal materials and components in
metal-producing and metalworking industries as well as in installation
engineering, plant construction and in aerotechnics.
Since 1998, SPG is an accredited inspection body in compliance with DIN EN
45004 and since 2005 in compliance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020:2004. In the
accreditation certificate with the DAR registration DAP-IS-4057.00 the
inspection body is attested to have the competence to carry out inspections
in the fields of
- in-service inspections of power plants and their components using
non-destructive testing methods (visual check, ultrasonic testing, radiography,
magnetic crack detection, penetrate testing) )
- mechanic-technologic and metallographic testing
- experimental static and dynamic stability checks
- theoretical structure and fatigue analyses and identification of their
compliance regarding service life with specific normative requirements or with
general requirements based on competent evaluation.
Since 1992, SPG owns a certificate of qualification in quality management
according to KTA 1401. This certificate attests that after inspection of the
quality assurance system based on the system of rules KTA 1401 the necessary
requirements are fulfilled for
- carrying out calculation services for strength calculations, stress and
fatigue analyses, thermal analyses, vibration analyses, service life analyses as
well as damage examinations.
SPG possesses
- facilities that allow appropriate state-of-the-art testing
- an established quality management system
- qualified scientific assistants and inspectors.
Furthermore, Siempelkamp Pruef und Gutachter-Gesellschaft mbh
possesses certification according to SCC** version 2006 for guaranteeing
health protection and industrial safety in our company.
In 2009 the Siempelkamp Pruef und Gutachter-Gesellschaft mbh is a
pre-qualified supplier in Connexio, the supplier's information system for
energy suppliers in Germany, Eastern and Central Europe.
